Golf is a repetitive one sided activity. Because of this playing golf will cause certain muscle groups to shorten and limit the very motions you need to be successful at the sport. The most common limitations are hip turn and shoulder range of motion, which may or may not be painful. Other problems
I see with golfers are Low Back pain, Upper Back pain, Wrist and or Elbow pain, and Hip and or Knee pain. Reducing the problems YOU have will improve not only your performance but also your enjoyment of
the game.

The “Golfer’s Special” is a combo treatment designed to help with the two most common restrictions, Hip turn and Shoulder range of motion. For a right handed golfer I lengthen the right Psoas and Iliacus along with the left Quadratus Lumborum to improve hip turn. Then the right Pecs, Subscapularis and Serratus Anterior to improve Shoulder range of motion. This usually improves their distance off the Tee by 20 to 40 yards!
Other restrictions or pains can be addressed as needed. I have worked with teaching pros to address specific limitations they have identified with their students. Some had been working on stretching programs for months with little result. They attained the range they wanted after a couple of sessions with Therbo.
