Quad strains whether acute or chronic
can be helped by Therbo. An actual tear in the muscle belly will produce scar tissue. Therbo can help limit the amount of scar tissue formed in an acute situation and speed up the recovery process. Therbo will break up old scar tissue in a chronic problem, restoring lost range of motion and function. Underlying causes also need to be addressed.
An example would be a 16 year old softball player who came to see me with a right Quad Strain. She had rehabbed and repeatedly re injured her quad over a 6 month period.
