Trigger Finger — Sarasota, FL — Meilus Precision Therapy
Trigger Finger involves the finger being stuck in a bent or flexed position. It is usually caused by shortened flexor muscles in the forearm due to overuse of the hand from repetitive motions. Lengthening the flexor muscles and their antagonists (opposite action) usually produces significant improvement. Using Therbo directly on the tendon can also be beneficial to free up the synovial sheath.
